The Nigerian Official Selection Committee (NOSC) for the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences has retained its decision not to submit a film for the 2023 Oscars after reconvening to make a final determination regarding a submission to the International Feature Film category for the 95th Academy Awards, following a one-week extension by the Academy.
There will be no official submission from Nigeria for the 2023 Oscars as disclosed in the meeting chaired by the committee’s chairperson Chineze Anayene-Abonyi on Thursday.
