Nemesis seems to have caught up with 65-year-old clergyman, Festus Adebayo and his accomplice, a certain Gbemisola Olufusi who have both been apprehended by police detectives in Ondo state for reportedly using the menstrual pad of a 20-year-old Oluwasemilore Iluyomade for money ritual.
Olufusi, 24 years of age, is said to be the boyfriend Miss lluyomade whose menstrual pad was allegedly used for ritual purpose. The pastor and Olufusi are said to have been in collusion to use the pad for money ritual.
According to the police, Olufusi took the victim’s menstrual pad and gave it to the clergyman in December 2019. Two months after the pad was handed over to the pastor, the victim is reported to have suffered a terrible ordeal as some whitish substances started oozing out from her private part.

Festus Iluyomade, the father of the victim said he has taken her to the hospital on several occasions and had gone through two different major operations, all to no avail, forcing him to lodge a complaint at the police division in Enuowa, Ondo town.
“When we noticed substance was coming out of my daughter’s body, we reported the case to the police after a series of prayers. We have done different operations and we are still carrying out the test” he said.
After conducting due investigations, the police moved to arrest the suspects who confessed to the crime during police interrogation.
The state police command spokesperson, Tee Leo lkoro confirmed the arrest of the suspects.
“The Father of the victim reported the case in Ondo that he suspected his daughter was used for ritual by the two suspects now in our custody. ”
The case has been transferred to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further investigation. Ikoro said that they would be charged to court after a thorough investigation by police detectives.
