Okorocha kicks, says Uzodimma should face Nwosu, I have passed his level

The battle between Imo state governor, Hope Uzodimma, and former governor of the state and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, Rochas Okorocha, has appeared to have no end.

This was as Vanguard captured the former governor Okorocha, yesterday in Owerri, as he called on Uzodimma, to face Nwosu, (2019 guber candidate of Action Alliance) and leave him (Okorocha) alone.

Okorocha argued that Uzodimma should face Nwosu because he (Nwosu) could likely run for the position of governorship and that it was wrong for Uzodimma, to challenge him (Okorocha) who has passed the level of Uzodimma’s governorship and as a Senator.

However, Okorocha boasted that he is now concentrating his political energy towards becoming the president of Nigeria.

According to Okorocha, “Hope is a governor, and I have been a governor. He has been a senator and I am a senator, I am not interested in the governorship or Senate again. What I am interested in is the Federal Republic of Nigeria. And Hope Uzodimma cannot stop me. His mate is Uche Nwosu who is likely to contest with him again.”

The duo of Uzodimma and Okorocha has been in a political battle which was heightened last year December when the 2019 Imo governorship candidate of the Action Alliance, AA, Uche Nwosu, was arrested by security operatives in a church St Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama  Obiere in Nkwerre local government area of I state and this was followed with accusations and counter-accusations.

However, the heavyweight battle has forced political big shots to come home to take advantage of the ongoing political game top among them, was the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Samdaddy Anyanwu, Former governor Emeka Ihedioha, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume and others.
