I Was Promised Fame To Lie Against Pete Edochie – Actor Kingsley Abasili

Nollywood actor, Kingsley Abasili has said that some media houses approached him to make false paternity claims against veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie.

Speaking via a Twitter post, Abasili alleged that journalists have asked him to falsely claim that Pete Edochie is his biological father as a criteria to become famous.

He stated that the media houses offered to promote him if he decides to make the false claims.

However, Kingsley Abasili said he rejected the offer because of the love he has for Pete Edochie.

He wrote, “For those coming to my inbox to mock me, I’m not popular because I refused to be. Media houses approached me asking me to declare Pete Edochie my biological father but I refused.

“That was the condition I was given to become famous but I see no reason to do such.”

Abasili is making this claim two years after photos of him and Pete Edochie surfaced online.

Edochie has not openly made any comments concerning his relationship with the Nollywood actor but there have being suspicions that they could be more than just a lookalike.
