Mixed reactions have been trailing the death of the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, who died today, the 8th of September 2022, at Balmoral Estate in Scotland.

Despite dying at the ripe age of 96, Queen Elizabeth II’s death came as a shock to many after an official statement was made public by Buckingham Palace.

Following this, photos of the late Queen have taken over the internet, with many sharing heartwarming tributes to mark the monarch’s legacies.

One of her photos shared by a controversial blog has sparked mixed reactions online as some wished the late monarch to rest in peace while others made funny jokes regarding her properties.

A user identified as pretty made a sarcastic comment on the Queen’s outfits, stating it would soon be shipped into the country as Okirika, meaning fairly used products of any kind.

Queen Elizabeth, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch and the nation’s figurehead for seven decades, died aged 96, Buckingham Palace said on Thursday.

“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.

“The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and return to London tomorrow.”

With this latest development, her eldest son Charles, 73, automatically becomes king of the United Kingdom and the head of state of 14 other realms, including Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Her family had rushed to be by her side at her Scottish home, Balmoral Castle after doctors expressed concern about her health. She had been suffering from what Buckingham Palace has called “episodic mobility problems” since the end of last year, forcing her to withdraw from nearly all her public engagements.

Queen Elizabeth II, who was also the world’s oldest and longest-serving monarchs.
