Davido’s ‘Fall’ makes Billboard Chart re-entry after performance at Travis Scott’s concert

After Davido’s show-stopping performance in Travis Scott’s London O2 concert on Saturday, 6th August 2022, his 2017 international hit single ‘Fall’ has re-entered the Billboard Afrobeats Song chart dated August 13th, 2022.

The song re-entered the chart at 50th place. Before its re-entry, ‘Fall’ reached a peaked at 18th position and spent a total of 18 weeks on the charts.

Its re-entry can be credited to the nostalgia the song drew from the audience as Davido thrilled the excited audience with an amazing performance of his hit songs. The concert also had in attendance NBA stars, Kevin Durant and James Harden.

‘Fall’ is one of Davido’s biggest songs of all time, it is one of the many hits the superstar singer released in 2017.
He dominated the music scene in 2017 with hit songs such as ‘IF’, ‘FIA’, ‘Like Dat’, ‘Fall’ as well as a feature with superstar singer/rapper, Olamide in Summer Body.

The successful feat achieved in 2017 with his music was evident as he won ”Best International Act’ at the 2018 BET Awards.

FALL’ enjoyed huge success in the US, UK, and other European countries where it introduced a new audience to Afrobeats. It’s certified Gold in the United States where it has earned more than 500,000 units in sales.

‘Fall’ is one of the biggest Nigerian songs of all time. The video which was released in June 2017 also ranks high as one of the most viewed music videos by a Nigerian with 245M views.
