Controversy over the fate of Master Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of popular music icon, David Adeleke aka Davido and Chioma was deepening early on Tuesday after reports that the three year old boy had drowned in a swimming pool in the family house in Lagos.
Initial reports were that the boy was rushed to the Lagoon Hospital where he was reportedly confirmed dead.

However, there have also been new reports that the lad is not dead and was still under intensive care in the hospital.
Davido was travelling in the United States when the incident happened. His girlfriend and mother of the baby, Chioma was said to have also travelled to Ibadan and had left the baby in the hands of a domestic aide.
On social media many have expressed condolence to Davido after initial reports that Ifeanyi drowned in the swimming pool incident. However, some were tweeting early in the morning that Ifeanyi was still being treated with hopes for his survival.
The incident has whatever, drawn sympathy to Davido. However, with the family yet to issue a statement on the development many were still hopeful that the boy who is the first male child from the music icon would bounce to life.
However, with the parents of Ifeanyi, Davido and Chioma still silent, there are speculations that he is dead
