Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored twice as Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 at the Wembley to give Mikel Arteta his first trophy as Gunners manager.
Frank Lampard’s Chelsea took the lead after Olivier Giroud set up Christian Pulisic to put the ball past Martinez in goal.
But Arsenal soon drew level after Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta fouled Aubameyang in the six yard to give the Gunners a penalty.
The Gabonese international then converted from the spot. He then went on to give his team the lead with an exquisite finish past Willy Caballero.
