The producer/director, and screen husband of Ada Ameh in the popular TV family drama, ‘The Johnsons’, Charles Inojie has reacted to the death of the star actress, calling on fans to celebrate her death instead of mourning.
The popular actress Ada Ameh was pronounced dead in Warri, Delta State, around 11 pm on Sunday after being a guest of an oil company toyshop and his family when she suddenly collapsed.
Reacting, prolific actor and filmmaker, Charles Inojie said he delayed in responding to her death because he needed to confirm it.
Inojie said he finally decided to respond to her death after her manager travelled to Warri to physically see her dead body.
Describing her as a ‘rare and vibrant gem’ Inojie said everyone should celebrate her life because she is an icon who has on daily basis put smiles on every face and spread love in every home.
He wrote:
‘It has taken a while to authenticate this sad news before going public under advisement from Ada’s manager who was on his way to Warri to secure physical confirmation of the horrible news that hit us all this morning. He has just called in from Warri and sadly he has confirmed our worst fears… Our beloved Emuakpor Johnson is no more!
