Halima Abubakar, in 2017 had a major fibroid surgery in India. She was in a coma for three days in March 2018 and used to be a close friend of popular actress Tonto Dikeh.

The Kano born actress has a man in her life but has chose to keep him away from the media, she has a daughter who was born in 2020.
