Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo celebrates 61st birthday

Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe Damijo is 61 today, July 6th.

The actor has shared stunning photos to celebrate his new age.

Mofe Damijo expressed his gratitude for the grace bestowed on him.

He noted how birthdays are a chance to look back and forward and reflect on ones life.

For him, he sees God’s grace upon his life.

He also expressed his gratitude for family, staff, friends and business partners and the hands in the creative industry is that has given him so much joy and opportunities to shoot his shot!

“This is 61 and counting! Super grateful and thankful for God’s grace upon my life. Birthdays are a chance to look back and forward and all I see is God’s grace upon the life of this shy warri boy that said yes to life. Kemi Filani news recalls , Richard Mofe-Damijo had opened up on fighting the spectre of death in his life since he turned 59 years old.

In an exclusive interview with Nigerian Journalist Chide Jideonwu, the actor revealed that none of his parents lived up to 60 years and turning 60 meant that life just started for him.

Richard Mofe Damijo said when he turned 59 years, it was a big deal for him considering his mother died at age 59, and his father died at 57/58, which made him questioned how he could break the cycle.

According to the veteran actor, his parents were diabetic and hypertensive, the reason he chose to consistently go on weight loss programmes to look healthier because he does not want to walk in the path of his parents.
