Nigerians Mock Tinubu, APC For Labouring In Vain After PDP’s Adeleke defeated Oyetola in Osun

The Nigerian Twitter community was on Sunday turning back comments by the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to the extent that Osun people should not join those labouring in vain to mock the party after the shocking loss of the Osun State governorship election.

Africa Informants reports that Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP  famed as the dancing senator over his dancing prowess won the Osun State governorship election conducted on Saturday.

He defeated the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola of the APC by 403371 votes to the 375,027 votes won by the APC.

Recall that, Tinubu at the APC mega rally for the reelection of APC gubernatorial candidate, Adegboyega Oyetola on Tuesday, said “they said some are in Labour, they will remain labourers till death”.

However, after the declaration of Adeleke as the winner of the election, social media users have now turned to mocking the APC for labouring in vain in Osun state.

See reactions gathered:

@iamchiemezie: So who’s laboring in vain now in Osun? The universe will demystify all men that have assumed the position of gods in our society.

@chukwumaoliver2: How come Bola Ahmed Tinubu laboured in vain in Osun State? Was it because of his bad mouth of Nigerian labourers Labouring till their death? Well, this is just the beginning of the electoral tsunami of 2023. Tinubu’s case will never be helped by the wrong choice of running mate.

@collins_elue: Nigerians aren’t as stupid as deemed. Osun just voted for the individual despite all manner of enticement and “structure” by the APC. Stories of 17k enticement, use of police and INEC collusion. APC has lost another western state. Nigerians lokan. Nigeria may yet be savaged.

@deroyz2: Even the INEC don tire for APC after all who chop agbado and  corn
