A final goodbye for a legendary monarch. On September 19th, the world said farewell to Queen Elizabeth II on September 19, as the longest ruling monarch in the UK’s history was laid to rest.

She passed away at age 96 on September 8 and is the culmination of 10 days of mourning for her people and her family. With hundreds sitting in Westminster Abbey and millions more watching from home around the global, the Queen’s life was celebrated in grand fashion, with all that she loved close at hand.

Among the mourners: King Charles with Queen Consort Camilla; Prince William and the new Princess of Wales, Kate; the Queen’s other three children, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, along with their families; and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have spent the week dutifully with the royal family.
